Verified Ready for New Accessibility Law – Ensuring Usability for Everyone

The development and tech teams have been working intensively for nearly a year to integrate accessibility into all stages of product development. This strategic focus ensures that Verified's customers, who are subject to the new directive, can confidently offer their platforms to all their end-users.

For Verified, accessibility is not just a matter of compliance, but a fundamental principle in creating user-friendly and inclusive solutions. The primary goal has been to ensure that end-customers, those who ultimately interact with Verified's customers' platforms, experience a seamless and accessible journey.

“'At Verified, accessibility is not a side project, but an integral part of our DNA. We believe it's self-evident that all users, regardless of any functional variations, should be able to benefit from our customers' services, says André Bringner, Head of CLM products, Verified. Our proactive work ensures that we not only meet legal requirements but also create truly inclusive solutions for the future.”

The work on accessibility has involved an extensive learning process for the team, leading to deeper insights and a more inclusive design philosophy.

We’re committed to keeping this a part of how we work, not just something we check off once.

“This whole process has been a big learning experience for all of us. We didn’t just plug in some accessibility features and call it a day—we spent real time trying to understand different needs and what inclusive design actually means in practice. It’s made us rethink a lot of our habits and assumptions, says Prakash Khatri Chhetri, Design System Developer at Verified.

“Along the way, we’ve updated our design principles to put accessibility much closer to the center, and we’ve built a shared design system to help everyone on the team start from a better place. There’s still more to do, but we’re in a much better spot now—and we’re committed to keeping this a part of how we work, not just something we check off once.”

Verified's customers can therefore be confident that their platforms, built on Verified's solutions, will be accessible to a wider audience. Through its thorough preparatory work, Verified is well-positioned to meet the new requirements and continue to deliver innovative and inclusive solutions to the financial sector.

The first phase will include visual changes in product User Interface (UI) and, within the PDFs we generate. These updates are designed to improve clarity, readability, and overall usability for all users, including those with visual impairments.
